Hunger: A Real Issue in our World

Myself and another FFA member from my chapter had the amazing opportunity to go the Washington Leadership Conference (WLC) in Washington D.C. this past summer. We learned many things while we were there, but one thing that stuck with both of us was the issue of hunger in our world. We had a "Poverty Dinner" while at WLC, where we ate as the world eats. The ratios of those of us in the high, middle, and lower classes were astounding. Just to give you an idea, if there are 50 people in a room, 4 would be high class, 8 would be middle class, and 38 would be lower class. This was very eye-opening for myself and the other chapter member, and in an attempt to spread the word about this very real issue in our world, I'm starting a Hunger series on this blog. Please read and share to help end world hunger!
